About IREC

Eligibility Criteria

1
The RE Device must not be classified under the "Sale to Board" category.
2
The power generated from the RE Device should be consumed under Captive or Group Captive mode
3
The RE Device must not participate in the Indian Renewable Energy Certificate REC Mechanism

IREC Fees Structure

Account Opening

  • One time Fee - 500 Euro
  • Annual Fee - 2,000 Euro
  • Total - 2,500 Euro (for 1st Year)

Registration

  • One-time Registration Fee (5-year validity)
  • Greater than 3 MW → Rs.89,000/-
  • Between 1 MW to 3 MW → Rs.44,500/-
  • Upto 1 MW → Rs.8,900/-

Issuance & Redemption

  • Issuance - Rs.3.00 per IREC
  • Redemption - Rs.7.00 per IREC
  • Totally - Rs.10.00 per IREC (Approximately)
